Job summary

Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking a Housing Inclusion officer (grade 8) to join the Specialist Supported Accommodation Team. The role focuses on housing management across adult schemes, including Chalkhill Gateway, Ashwell Gateway and The Brook, with cover at other schemes as needed.

You will need housing support experience, strong communication, advocacy and negotiation skills, and a level three qualification in a relevant subject.

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and carry out housing management across supported accommodation schemes.
• Provide cover at Chalkhill Gateway, Ashwell Gateway and The Brook, with other schemes as needed.
• Take part in Out of Hours on call rota for Independent Living.
• Communicate, advocate and negotiate effectively to produce results for customers.
