Job summary

Millennium Hotels and Resorts in London is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across the hotel.

You will supervise Room Attendants and Public Areas, conduct inspections, allocate tasks, coordinate with Front Office for timely room availability, train and develop staff, monitor safety and stock, and support rota planning and daily admin.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising housekeeping teams in a hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Excellent training and coaching abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Room Attendants and Public Areas to ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas to meet brand standards.
• Allocate daily assignments and monitor productivity to achieve targets.
• Coordinate room status updates with Front Office to ensure timely availability of rooms.
• Assist with training, coaching and development of housekeeping staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and cleaning standards.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and linens; report shortages.
• Support rota planning and daily departmental administration.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
• Ensure lost property procedures are followed and records maintained.
• Promote a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Assist with deep cleaning programmes and special projects as required.

We are currently looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team.

Key responsibility:

• Supervise and support Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet brand and company standards.
• Allocate daily assignments and monitor productivity to ensure departmental targets are achieved.
• Coordinate room status updates with the Front Office team to ensure timely availability of guest rooms.
• Assist with the training, coaching, and development of housekeeping team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, company policies, and cleaning standards.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, reporting shortages as required.
• Support the Housekeeping Management team with rota planning, attendance monitoring, and daily departmental administration.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure that lost property procedures are followed and records are accurately maintained.
• Promote a positive and collaborative working environment within the department.
• Assist with deep cleaning programmes and special cleaning projects as required.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper.
