Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Pembroke

Contract: Permanent, 30 hours per week

Hours of work: 5 days per week Monday to Friday - shifts worked between 9am and 3pm.

Employment requirements: At least two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

About the role

As a Housekeeper for Ashdale Care Ltd, you’ll carry out a range of tasks to help us provide the quality care and support our residents deserve. No two days will be the same as you take on diverse responsibilities across housekeeping, laundry and catering. This role will predominantly be based within the Laundry department.

  • Reporting to the Head Housekeeper whilst working as a team to ensure all cleaning tasks are delivered to a high standard in accordance with the cleaning schedule and always provide a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Maintaining required documents such as cleaning schedules.
  • Supporting the catering team by completing cleaning tasks and serving meals, and preparing meals when required.
  • Promoting safe working practice within the home, reporting hazards to the Registered Manager, and working in line with Health & Safety, Emergency and Fire procedures, COSHH, the Care Standards Act, and Infection Prevention and Control policies and measures.
