Job summary

Circle Health Group Decontamination in Aylesford is hiring a full-time Housekeeper to join the 37.5-hour week team. The role covers day and night shifts across the decontamination department, with flexibility to work at other Circle Health Group sites as required.

You will clean patient, public and staff areas, replenish linen, and maintain a safe environment. GCSE Maths/English and good communication are expected; PC proficiency and training completion are required.

• Proficiency in using a PC and standard software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.

• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (incl Theatre) and at other Circle Health Group sites as required.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing.
• Comply with mandatory training.

Housekeeper Circle Decontamination - Aylesford 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £25,518.43 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required. We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Decontamination department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift.

Duties

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Requirements

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good Communication skills.
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
