Circle Health Group Decontamination is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join the team. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) with flexible shift coverage across days and nights to support sterile equipment services in hospitals in England and Glasgow.

You will clean patient areas, replenish linen, and ensure a safe environment while adhering to training standards. The role requires GCSE Maths/English, PC proficiency, and good communication.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent, evidence required.
• Proficient in using a PC and standard hospital software/systems.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Flexibility to cover shifts across all sites and departments.

Responsabilités

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables as required.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments and at other Circle Health Group sites.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to Housekeeper Lead for auditing.
• Comply with mandatory training and maintain competency in literacy and numeracy.

Description du poste

Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required. We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Decontamination department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift. Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
