Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a part-time Housekeeper in Radlett to join the Hotel Services team. The role offers 20 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern and a salary up to £25,518.43 FTE per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The responsibilities include cleaning patient, public and staff areas, replenishing linen and consumables, and ensuring a safe environment. Training and development are provided, with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Maths & English GCSEs at A–C or equivalent.
• Proficiency with a PC and general software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas.
• Maintain a safe, pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (incl. theatre) and other Circle Health Group sites.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to Housekeeper Lead for auditing.
• Comply with mandatory training.

Housekeeper

Circle Decontamination - Radlett

20 Hours & Permanent

Salary: Up to £25,518.43 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.

We have an opportunity for an Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a part time role for 20 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
