Job summary

Circle Health Group in Glasgow is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team. The role is 12 hours per week, with shifts 08:00–14:00 on Monday and Tuesday. Salary up to £25,525 FTE per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The role involves cleaning patient, public and staff areas, replenishing linen and consumables, and working across departments including theatre areas. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A-C or equivalent.
• Proficiency with PC and hospital software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Be flexible to work in all departments (including Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites as requested.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing purposes.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a part time role for 12 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Candidates must be available to work from 08:00 - 14:00, Monday and Tuesday.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
