Job summary

The Blackheath Hospital in London, part of Circle Health Group, is hiring a Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team on a full-time basis. The role involves daily cleaning of patient, public and employee areas, maintaining a safe environment and stocking linen and consumables.

The position requires flexible shifts spanning 37.5 hours per week. Applicants should have GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent, good literacy and numeracy, and competent PC skills.

Housekeeper The Blackheath Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: £24,947.00 per year

The Blackheath Hospital in London is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
