Job summary

Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team.

This is a part-time, 20-hour-per-week role with a flexible shift pattern to cover early mornings from 06:00 to 10:00, Monday to Friday. Salary is up to £25,525 per year FTE, depending on experience and qualifications.

You will clean patient, public and staff areas, replenish linen and consumables, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment across hospital sites.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy competency required.
• Good communication skills.
• GCSE Maths and English at A–C or equivalent.
• Proficiency with PC and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient, public and staff areas daily.
• Maintain a safe, pleasant environment for patients and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Cover flexible shifts 06:00–10:00, Monday to Friday.
• Complete daily task sheets for auditing purposes.
• Complete mandatory training.

Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in theHotel Servicesdepartment.

This is a part time role for 20 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern. Candidates must be available to work from 06:00 - 10:00, Monday to Friday.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
