Job summary

Cygnet Pindar House is seeking a confident Housekeeper to support our care environment in Worsbrough. You will provide cleaning and general housekeeping services across the site, helping maintain a safe, healthy living space for residents.

This 40-hour week role (Mon-Fri with some flexibility) offers £13.15 per hour, strong career progression opportunities, expert supervision, and a DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable).
• Knowledgeable of COSHH (desirable).
• Friendly, conscientious with a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service.
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes.
• Replenish stock & ensure equipment is clean and well maintained.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures and COSHH regulations.

We are looking for a confident Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference to others.

You will be working 40 Hours a week (Monday to Friday with some flexibility required) at Cygnet Pindar House helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Cygnet Pindar House is our 22 bed Neuropsychiatric care and treatment service for men affected by acquired brain injuries. It is a safe and secure place to aid recovery as well as offering those diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease like Huntington's Disease, a caring and longer term placement to support and help manage the progression of their symptoms.

Your day-to-day...

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service


• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness


• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes


• Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained


• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures


• Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

You have...

• Experienced in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable)
