Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking an outstanding Housekeeper at Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes to provide cleaning and general housekeeping for 16 hours per week (8am to 4:30pm on Saturday & Sunday). You will help maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Experience in housekeeping is desirable; an enhanced DBS check is required for successful candidates. We offer a pension scheme, employee referral scheme, discount savings and cycle to work options to our staff.

Qualifications

Experience in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable)
Knowledge of COSHH (desirable)
Friendly, conscientious & positive attitude
Good communication

Responsibilities

Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service
Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures
Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

You’ll be working 16 hours per week (8am to 4:30pm on Saturday & Sunday) at Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Cygnet Bury Dunes provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services and emergency admission services.

Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir.
