Cygnet Group is seeking a confident Housekeeper to provide cleaning and general housekeeping at Cygnet Pindar House in Barnsley, England. You will work 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday) to create a safe, healthy environment for residents, with DBS enhanced checks required for successful candidates.

The role supports a Neuropsychiatric care setting and requires commitment to professional, compassionate care, COSHH awareness, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

Experience in housekeeping or domestic work is desirable.
Knowledge of COSHH is desirable.
Friendly, conscientious with a positive attitude.
Good communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service.
Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes.
Replenish stock and ensure equipment is clean and well maintained.
Follow safe working practices and health & safety procedures.
Comply with COSHH regulations.

We are looking for a confident Housekeeping with a passion for making a difference to others.

You will be working 40 Hours a week (Monday to Friday) at Cygnet Pindar House helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Cygnet Pindar House is our 22 bed Neuropsychiatric care and treatment service for men affected by acquired brain injuries. It is a safe and secure place to aid recovery as well as offering those diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease like Huntington's Disease, a caring and longer term placement to support and help manage the progression of their symptoms.

The service is a modern purpose-built facility, designed specifically to provide a clinically-led evidence-based neuropsychiatric pathway for individuals presenting with behaviours that challenge. Our focus is to create a therapeutic rich environment to engage the men in our care and offer them the opportunity to maximise their independence.
