Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our healthcare cleaning team in Cambridgeshire. This full-time role involves delivering high-standard cleaning services across NHS Trusts and private hospitals, supporting staff, patients and visitors.

You will follow strict health and safety guidelines, work both independently and as part of a team, and adapt to a 5-out-of-7 shift pattern. Experience in healthcare cleaning and a strong customer service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Performing additional cleaning duties as required, such as mopping up spills quickly.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste.
• Ensuring areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following policies and procedures.
• Following health & safety guidelines when using equipment.

We're currently recruiting a full time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team to deliver outstanding cleaning services for Healthcare, contracted to 36.25 hours per week.

As one of our committed Housekeepers, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our staff and visitors.

Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
