Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is hiring a part-time Cleaner to join our healthcare cleaning team in Dartford. The role is contracted to 15 hours per week, with evening shifts Monday to Friday.

You’ll help maintain hygienic environments for clients and patients, working as part of our dedicated cleaning and facilities teams. We're looking for someone reliable with a hands-on approach, organised and detail-oriented, who can adapt to a flexible pattern.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on, practical cleaner able to work evenings.
• Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Flexible approach to working pattern and hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as needed, including spillages.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste and restock supplies.

We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Healthcare, contracted to 15 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. • Mon: Evenings
• Tues: Evenings
• Weds: Evenings
• Thurs: Evenings
• Fri: Evenings

Please note: This role is contracted to weeks per year

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our Ideal Cleaner Will

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
