Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to deliver outstanding cleaning services for Defence, contracted to 30 hours per week. The role includes cleaning a wide range of areas, maintaining high standards, and ensuring safety and sanitisation across all touchpoints.

Shift patterns are 5 out of 7 days, with a focus on customer service and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have prior cleaning experience, strong communication skills, and be flexible in approach to duties and hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar housekeeping role.
• Strong customer service orientation and friendly demeanor.
• Good communication with staff and visitors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to shifts and duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain multiple areas in the building to a high standard.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum as required.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Handle spillages quickly and safely and perform additional duties as needed.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste and keep areas presentable and safe.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when using equipment.

We're currently recruiting a part time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team to deliver outstanding cleaning services for Defence, contracted to 30 hours per week.

As one of our committed Housekeepers, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our staff and visitors.

Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures
• Following all health & safety guidelines when using equipment

Our Ideal Housekeeper Will

• Have cleaning experience in a similar role
