Job summary

Compass Group UK is recruiting a full-time Housekeeper to join our Medirest team, delivering high-standard cleaning services across a healthcare setting on a 36.25-hour week. You will work 5 out of 7 days, maintaining cleanliness, sanitising touchpoints, and following health and safety guidelines.

The role requires a customer-focused approach and the ability to work well alone or as part of a team in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning role.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surfaces, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitized regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as needed, such as mopping up spillages
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for staff and visitors
• Following health & safety guidelines when using equipment

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures
• Following all health & safety guidelines when using equipment

Our ideal Housekeeper will:

• Have cleaning experience in a similar role
