Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Care Assistant to join Willow Court in Harpenden. This full/part-time role offers 20–35 hours per week in a welcoming 81-bed home with landscaped gardens and on-site facilities.

You will provide compassionate personal care, support residents to maintain independence, and work within a dedicated team. Training starts on day one, and shifts include weekends and Bank Holidays; 18+ required.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to care for older residents with compassion and respect.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Aged 18 years or over to apply.

Pay: £13.61 per hour weekdays & £14.61 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 7.30am to 2.30pm/2.30pm to 9.30pm – Weekdays and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our welcoming Care Home Willow Court in Harpenden. Willow court is an 81 bed residential care home Located in a quiet residential area of Harpenden, it offers beautiful landscaped gardens, a welcoming café, hair and beauty salon, and excellent amenities for residents and staff alike.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
• Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
