Job summary

Brig o’ Doon House Hotel, part of RAD Hotel Group, is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort in Ayr, Scotland. Shifts are typically 7:00am–3:00pm with weekend work required.

The role offers weekly pay and a range of staff benefits. You’ll clean public areas and guest bedrooms, ensure rooms present to brand standards, and report maintenance or guest requests to the Duty Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual team player.
• Good communication and guest service skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas to a high standard.
• Clean and service guest bedrooms in line with occupancy.
• Ensure bedrooms are presented to brand standards and complete room checks.
• Communicate and action guest requests as required.
• Report maintenance issues to the Duty Manager.
• Report damage or concerns regarding hotel facilities.
• Follow directions from the Duty Manager and Head of Housekeeping.
• Prioritise guest comfort and safety during your shift.

Part Time

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at Brig o’ Doon House Hotel. You will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and overall guest experience throughout the hotel. Typical shifts will be between 7:00am and 3:00pm, with weekend working required.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel to a high standard.
• Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms in line with occupancy and arrivals.
• Ensuring bedrooms are presented to company standards and completing relevant room check documentation.
• Ensuring guest requests are communicated and actioned where required.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the Duty Manager.
• Reporting any damage, misuse or concerns regarding hotel facilities.
• Following direction from the Duty Manager and Head of Housekeeping.
• Prioritising guest comfort and safety throughout your shift.
