Job summary

Brendoncare invites applications for a part-time Housekeeper in Alton. You will work 26 hours per week, delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the home while ensuring residents’ safety and privacy during duties.

Experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner is preferred; flexibility, reliability and a caring approach to older people are essential. Brendoncare offers training, meals on duty, DBS checks, parking, and staff support services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home.

• Adhere to COSHH, Health and Safety regulations and Brendoncare policies.

Who are you?

We are seeking aHousekeeper who will need to have previous experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner outside of your own home. In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to working, be reliable and have a caring disposition towards older people.

What will I be doing?

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home;
• Ensuring the safety and privacy of residents whilst performing cleaning duties;
• Keeping adequate supplies of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored safely;
• Reporting hazards and repair requirements;
• Adhering to COSHH and Health and Safety regulations and working within the Policies and Procedures of Brendoncare.
