Job summary

Brendoncare Foundation in Alton is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to join our care home team. This part-time role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring residents’ safety and privacy, and supporting a welcoming living environment.

• Keep adequate supplies of cleaning materials and store them safely.
• Report hazards and repair requirements.

Who are you?

We are seeking aHousekeeper who will need to have previous experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner outside of your own home. In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to working, be reliable and have a caring disposition towards older people.

What will I be doing?

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home;
• Ensuring the safety and privacy of residents whilst performing cleaning duties;
• Keeping adequate supplies of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored safely;
• Reporting hazards and repair requirements;
• Adhering to COSHH and Health and Safety regulations and working within the Policies and Procedures of Brendoncare.
