Job summary

All Bar One Liverpool is recruiting a Night Porter for overnight shifts to warmly welcome guests, check in late arrivals and help keep front of house clean and secure.

The role requires independence, a can-do attitude and a professional demeanour. DBS check is part of recruitment, and the position offers a competitive salary, pension, 28 days holiday and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Provide a warm, friendly welcome to all guests.
• Assist with front of house cleaning and setting up breakfast/rooms as needed.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security is maintained.
• Evacuate guests and staff safely in case of fire.
• Answer phone inquiries and handle guest complaints to ensure a great stay.

This is an overnight position, with shifts typically ranging from 11pm to 7am (depending on the site). Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Be the first point of contact when checking in late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Ensure a warm, friendly and genuine welcome to all guests.
• The role is varied and, depending on your site, may include: cleaning tasks within the front of house, external and breakfast areas, setting up the meeting room(s) and breakfast for the next day
• You’ll ensure guest and business safety and security is top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, evacuating all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
• Answer telephone enquiries and deal with guest complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
