Responsibilities

Adhere to the company’s health and safety policies.
Ensure facilities hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Serve hot and cold food and beverages to customers.
Clear crockery/cutlery/rubbish and glasses when finished.
Carry luggage/belongings for visitors to the desired area.
Maintain cleanliness in banqueting/conference/laundry stores and front of house areas.
Replenish stock as required.
Polish cutlery as required.
Ensure the kitchen is left to a high standard.
Clear down tables when functions are finished.
Assist in next-day preparation for functions as directed.
Clean function rooms as required.
Maintain and operate the food area in an efficient manner.
Promote and sell the hotel and its products in a friendly and helpful manner.
Operate according to hotel policies and procedures.
Ensure effective communication with management and peers.
Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
Attend training courses as necessary.
Ensure health and safety of yourself and others.
Report incidents, fire, loss or damage and take action.
Report maintenance issues and take appropriate action.
Any other duties as requested by management.

We are looking for a Hotel Porter to greet and welcome prospective and current customers and residents of the hotel. To ensure the expected high standards of customer service, health & safety, cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in La Mon Hotel as a whole.

Main tasks and duties

To adhere to the company’s health and safety policies;

To serve hot and cold food and beverages to customers;
To clear all crockery/cutlery/rubbish and glasses when finished;
To carry luggage/belongings for visitors of the hotel to the desired area;
