Job summary

La Mon Hotel & Country Club is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join its team in Northern Ireland. The role focuses on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, with mostly evening shifts starting at 4.00pm. You will assist chefs and help uphold health and safety standards across the kitchen area.

Experience in hospitality is welcomed, and a reliable mode of transport is preferred due to the location. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
• Good Command of English Language.
• Need transportation due to location.
• Experience in the hotel industry (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Wash the dishes.
• Clean all pots and utensils.
• Wash all cutlery, crockery and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen floor and equipment.
• Remove rubbish and manage waste areas.
• Assist Chefs as required.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and appearance.
• Communicate effectively with management and peers.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
• Attend training courses as necessary.
