Job summary

De Vere Latimer Estate, Chesham, is seeking a Hotel Operations Manager to join its leadership team. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel, driving service standards across Food & Beverage and Conference & Events, and lead your Heads of Department to deliver excellence.

You will work closely with the General Manager to develop teams, manage payroll and costs, and ensure high-quality guest experiences across Reception, Nights, Housekeeping and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Food & Beverage Manager, Hotel Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager with a strong Conference & Events background.
• Commercial mindset with payroll, productivity, recruitment and cost control experience.
• Ability to lead teams to deliver high service standards and drive improvements through training and direction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance of the hotel including F&B, conference & events and reception areas.
• Lead Heads of Department to maintain service standards and develop teams.
• Collaborate with General Manager to ensure high guest satisfaction and financial performance.
