Job summary

De Vere Wokefield Estate is recruiting an Assistant Reception Manager to ensure guests receive exceptional service from arrival to departure. You will support the Front of House Manager, coach the team, and drive a culture of continuous improvement in a 24/7 operation.

The role involves managing a mix of early, late, and middle shifts, including weekends, with opportunities for training and career progression within De Vere.

Qualifications

• Hospitality background with a track record of guest service excellence.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with colleagues and guests.
• Comfort with IT systems; Opera experience is advantageous but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests' expectations are met and exceeded during their stay.
• Support Front of House Manager and contribute to training and development.
• Lead and motivate the reception team to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Manage a varied shift pattern including early, late and middle shifts, weekends on rota.
