Job summary

De Vere Tortworth Court is seeking an Executive Head Housekeeper to set and maintain the highest housekeeping standards across bedrooms and public areas. You will lead a team, plan rotas, manage stock and costs, and work with colleagues across the hotel to ensure guest rooms are immaculate.

You will oversee equipment and linen, foster a warm team culture, and have opportunities to act as Duty Manager when needed. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hotel housekeeping management experience in a hotel environment.
• Strong communication and motivational leadership skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to plan rotas.
• Great eye for detail and high standards.
• Familiar with IT systems; Opera or Fourth Hospitality experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain high housekeeping standards across the hotel and public areas.
• Lead and develop a team of Supervisors, Housekeeping Assistants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners.
• Plan rotas and schedules to meet hotel needs and ensure the team is in the right place.
• Oversee housekeeping equipment and linen, monitor stock levels and manage costs.
• Support wider hotel operations and act as Duty Manager when required.
