Company Description

We are looking for a Night Receptionist to join our TRIBE as we launched our first TRIBE Hotel into the London market in the summer of 2022.

We are looking for someone who’s curious, caring and conscious attitude will play a crucial part in curating the TRIBE experience, which is defined through its authenticity and obsession in making sure everything is as seamless and functional as possible to make life that bit easier.

Job Description
What you’ll do…
  1. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when working to achieve solutions to challenges.
  2. Deal with the arrival and departure processes for all guests, ensuring all standard operating procedures are adhered to.
  3. Handle in-house guests’ requests, recording all feedback as per our standard operating procedures.
  4. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of guest credit, billing and financial transactions.
  5. Ensure the accuracy of data in all systems and provide the necessary daily reports for all departments as per our standard operating procedures.
  6. Complete night reception tasks correctly and accurately in line with our standard operating procedures.
  7. Ensure all guests are quoted the correct rate as per the selling strategy and website.
  8. Answer all telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
  9. Maintain observation over guests and guest’s property to ensure security alerts are minimized.
  10. Report maintenance issues to the correct department and verify completion.
  11. Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of public and back-of-house areas, correcting deficiencies immediately.
  12. Collaborate with all hotel teams and outsourced partners to ensure guest satisfaction.
  13. Keep the reception desk clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
What we are looking for…
  1. A helpful attitude, confident in answering questions and engaging with guests.
  2. Previous hotel or similar experience is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential.
  3. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences.
  4. Experience with Micros Fidelio Opera is advantageous.
  5. Willingness to try new approaches and adapt.
  6. A positive, team-oriented mindset that supports a fun and supportive work environment.
  7. Leadership qualities and a hands-on management style are a plus.
  8. Optimism and authenticity in your approach.
  9. A courageous entrepreneurial spirit willing to explore and experiment.
