We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest services and a strong commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations within our restaurant.

Responsibilities

1. Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and escorting them to their tables.
2. Managing reservations and maintaining an organized waiting list during peak times.
3. Communicating effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
4. Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
5. Collaborating with the serving staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
6. Handling phone inquiries with excellent etiquette, providing information about menus, specials, and reservations.
7. Addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.

Experience and Skills

• Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable is preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality, particularly within hotel or restaurant settings, is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• A background in guest services to understand customer needs and expectations.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
