Thwaites is seeking a dedicated Night Porter to join our nights team, delivering warm welcomes and top‑notch service while safeguarding guests as they sleep. You will work on your own initiative and help maintain a calm, safe environment throughout the night.

You will stay composed under pressure, handle issues as they arise, and ensure standards are maintained at all times. Previous hotel experience and basic computer skills are advantageous, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience is an advantage.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Checking in late arrivals.
• Cleaning the property and setting up meeting/conference rooms.
• Arranging newspapers and wake up calls.
• Ensuring the building and guests are secure.
• Helping set the dining area for breakfast.
