Job summary

Thwaites is seeking a dedicated Night Porter in Penrith to join our nights team. You will welcome guests, provide excellent service, and help maintain safety while working independently.

You’ll perform check-ins for late arrivals, tidy spaces, arrange wake-up calls, ensure security, and help set up breakfast areas. Full training is provided, with a competitive salary and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is advantageous but full training is provided.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle issues as they arise.
• Good communication skills and a confident, friendly manner.
• Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Checking in late arrivals.
• Cleaning the property and setting up meeting/conference rooms.
• Arranging newspapers and wake up calls.
• Ensuring the building and guests are secure.
• Helping set the dining area for breakfast.
