Job summary

Travelodge Glastonbury is seeking a Hotel Manager to lead and develop the hotel team in a full-time role. You will recruit, coach and motivate staff, ensure service and brand standards, and drive guest satisfaction across all areas of the hotel.

You will oversee rostering, banking, maintenance and health & safety, while driving engagement and cross-selling opportunities to boost F&B revenue and guest experience.

Qualifications

• You are friendly, engaging and welcoming by nature and have previously led a team in a service led customer facing industry.
• Food & beverage experience would be advantageous if applying for a Bar Cafe hotel.
• You thrive in a fast paced and evolving environment where you are responsible for delivering the objectives and direction of our operations through your team.
• You are also results focused and enjoy working towards KPIs and scorecard targets to ensure your hotel provides to customers a stay that they can trust!

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and motivating hotel teams.
• Creating personal development plans for career growth for team members.
• Recruiting and inducting new team members with warm onboarding.
• Ensuring food is prepared and presented to brand standard (Bar Cafe hotel).
• Maximising food & beverage sales by cross/upselling (Bar Cafe hotel).
• Reviewing customer feedback to drive targeted improvement plans.
• Overseeing cleaning of rooms/public areas and reporting repairs or maintenance.
• Managing rosters, banking and health & safety; driving engagement through incentives.
