Job summary

Elite Hotels (Rotherwick) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s Maintenance Department, ensuring repairs, projects, and preventative maintenance are delivered to the highest standards within budget.

You will manage 3rd-party contractors, drive health and safety, and implement training and succession plans to develop the team, while upholding Elite Hotels’ service standards across all areas of the estate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive planned maintenance service covering guest bedrooms, public areas, conference rooms, Health Club, external Estate, and Staff accommodation.
• Oversee the Maintenance Department, assign daily priorities to the team, and respond to Senior Management instructions.
• Manage hotel refurbishment projects, ensuring professional delivery in-house or via Contractors.
• Implement a training and succession planning strategy to develop the team.
• Improve productivity and labour efficiency across the department.
• Oversee Health & Safety for the department and hotel in coordination with the General Manager and Deputy Manager.
• Manage 3rd party contractors (boiler, water plant, pool, pest control, kitchen equipment, drainage, sewage, and general equipment).
• Direct projects related to building and estate maintenance, including roof, road, and other works.
• Ensure all equipment is functional and liaise with department heads to resolve issues promptly.
• Support staff welfare by taking responsibility for maintenance of staff accommodation.
• Implement Operational Service Standard Of Performance (OSSOP’s).
