You will manage keys, lost property, stock and safety procedures while supporting payroll accuracy and budget adherence. A hands-on leader with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably with supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Able to manage rotas, inspections and health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and motivate the housekeeping team.
• Organise and delegate daily tasks to team members.
• Produce and manage rotas based on hotel occupancy.
• Carry out daily room and quality inspections.
• Check vacant and ready rooms meet standards.
• Manage public areas and linen room standards.
• Report and follow up maintenance issues.
• Manage keys and complete regular key audits.
• Support lost property management.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored correctly.
• Complete quality audits and address issues.
• Monitor wastage and keep it to a minimum.
• Work with Hotel GM, Operations Manager and HR.
• Record team hours for payroll.
• Order cleaning chemicals and equipment within budgets.
• Manage linen stock and maintain records.
• Occasionally supervise bedrooms when occupancy requires.
