Job summary

UK Mission Enterprise is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee all housekeeping operations across multiple properties. You will train staff, organise rosters, manage supplies, and ensure high cleanliness standards for guest properties, including overseas locations.

Key duties include coordinating with the Housekeeping Coordinator, maintaining security procedures, and handling client requests while supervising rotas and ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications

• COSHH, manual handling, and health and safety certifications (Essential)
• Proven housekeeping experience (Essential)
• Supervisory or management experience (Essential)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Essential)
• Clean driving license (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping operations for assigned properties across pre-arrival, arrival, during-stay and departure phases.
• Ensure properties are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
• Assist in training housekeeping staff on company policies and procedures.
• Organise staff rosters, assign workloads, and monitor housekeeping staff and contractors.
• Issue keys per departmental procedures and ensure staff have cleaning supplies.
• Set and maintain high standards for staff appearance and behaviour.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up appropriately.
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping Coordinator for efficient scheduling.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of items.
• Organise end-of-season maintenance and spring-cleaning for soft furnishings and areas.
• Conduct stock takes and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Attend to client requests and manage personal items left in properties.
• Handle laundry, especially for overseas properties, and supervise service rotas.
