Job summary

Malmaison Reading is seeking a Duty Manager to join our busy hotel. You will be a hands-on manager, supporting the F&B and Front Office teams, and ensuring smooth daily operations across customer facing departments.

The role offers development opportunities from Junior HoD to Senior HoD and onward to a DGM role. Training courses and rewards accompany a permanent position at Malmaison Reading.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manager with experience in a busy Food & Beverage Department.
• Experience assisting in smooth running of customer facing departments including breakfast and front desk operations.
• Guest relations experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of all customer facing departments within Malmaison Reading, from F&B to front office.
• Collaborate with breakfast team and oversee checkout periods, coordinating with Housekeeping Management.
• Support progression towards Head of Department and ultimately a more senior DGM role within Malmaison or Hotel Du Vin.
• Participate in training courses designed to develop professional skills and leadership.
