Job summary

The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a Concierge for a full-time role (39 hours per week). You will greet guests, offer local recommendations, and collaborate with reception to ensure every guest leaves satisfied. A full UK driving license is required for valet duties.

As a Concierge (Full-Time, 39 hours per week), you can expect to carry out the following duties…

• Being the first point of contact for our guests (you will greet our guests with a warm and authentic Hotel Indigo welcome, supporting with any luggage or additional requirements) — it would be great if you had experience in a customer facing environment within a Hotel or Hospitality venue!
• Recommending food, drinks and entertainment for our guests (you will be a local-guide for our guests and adjust your approach to the wants and needs of each individual guest) — you will be someone who knows all the best spots in the local area and have excellent personal skills communicating with a wide range of guests!
• Working closely with our reception team (you will be motivated to ensure all of our guests all leave with a smile on their face) — a warm, authentic personality with a can-do attitude and experience of working closely in a team is essential for this role!
• A full UK-drivers license is required for this role as you will also carry out valet parking duties for our Guests’ cars.
