Job summary

Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull is seeking an experienced Hospitality Team Lead to manage a small Hosts and Catering Assistants team, ensuring meals and refreshments are delivered promptly and with a high standard of service.

You will work closely with clinical teams, maintain cleanliness and safety, and drive patient satisfaction through proactive leadership, training, and handling day-to-day operational needs; a strong hospitality background and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality experience, ideally within a supervisory or team lead role.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting patients and colleagues.
  • A willingness to complete mandatory training including Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Manual Handling.

  • Monitor hospitality equipment and supplies, escalating any faults or shortages as required.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, patient confidentiality and customer care.
  • Support catering and housekeeping teams with daily operational duties.
