Job summary

Circle Cheshire Clinic, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a hands-on Hotel Services Lead to oversee Housekeeping, Portering, and Materials Management. You will lead a small team, ensuring cleanliness, service delivery, stock management and patient satisfaction across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing operational teams within hospitality or healthcare environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A basic understanding of MS Excel and administrative processes.
• A hospitality or facilities services qualification (desirable).
• An understanding of cleanliness and infection control standards in a clinical or hotel setting.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the Portering and Housekeeping teams to ensure timely and professional delivery of services across all areas of the hospital.
• Oversee core portering duties, including patient and goods movement, site security, and gas management, where applicable.
• Ensure all housekeeping services, including room and theatre cleaning, laundry handling, and room setup, meet policy and infection prevention standards.
• Act as a key point of contact for patients, visitors, and consultants, managing feedback on hospitality services and ensuring satisfaction.
• Ensure staff compliance with all mandatory training and that service delivery adheres to hospital policies and health & safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance within the team.

Overview

Hotel Services Lead Circle Cheshire Clinic is part of Circle Health Group, Britain’s leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We are seeking a hands‑on Hotel Services Lead to oversee our Housekeeping, Portering, and Materials Management services. Leading a small team, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness, service delivery, stock management, and customer satisfaction across the hospital.

This is an operational leadership role, requiring you to actively support housekeeping, portering, and materials activities while driving team performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Ideal for someone who leads by example and is passionate about delivering outstanding service.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern, covering core full‑time hours Monday to Friday, but a degree of flexibility will be required as the clinic is open 08.00AM -20.00PM Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings.
