Job summary

Zizzi Norwich is hiring a Restaurant Supervisor or Shift Leader who will be a hands-on part of the management team, guiding front-of-house operations and ensuring service quality during peak shifts.

You’ll lead from the front, coach the FOH team, and resolve guest issues while maintaining safety and great dish presentation. Flexible hours and progression opportunities are offered, with meals on shift and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail, hospitality, or leisure environment.
• Confident, hands-on communicator with energy and lead-by-example attitude.
• Structured thinker who can organise a floor section and adapt on the fly.
• Reliable and ready to guide and support the team during peak times (evenings and weekends).

Responsibilities

• Run the restaurant during quieter periods, making sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
• Lead from the front during peak rushes, with full ownership of the Pass, Bar, or Floor to keep service seamless.
• Step in to resolve any guest issues on the floor with a feel-good solution.
• Motivate and coach the Front of House team to help them grow their skills and deliver standout, feel-good hospitality.
• Care about picture-perfect dish presentation, restaurant standards and the details that make a standout occasion.
• Keep our restaurants safe, clean, and welcoming for your team and guests.
