Job summary

Zizzi is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor or Shift Leader to join our Newport restaurant. You’ll be a hands‑on leader who cares about people, standards and guest experience, running the restaurant during quieter shifts and taking charge during busy periods.

You’ll oversee sections like the bar, food pass or hosting and coach the Front of House team to deliver standout hospitality. Prepare to lead by example, maintain high standards, ensure safety and cleanliness, and support the team through peak

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment with leadership responsibilities.
• Confident, hands-on communicator with energy and lead-by-example.
• Structured thinker who can organise a floor and think on their feet when busy.
• Reliable and ready to guide the team during peak times, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Run the restaurant during quieter periods, making sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
• Lead from the front during peak rushes, owning the Pass, Bar, or Floor to keep service seamless.
• Resolve guest issues on the floor with a positive, solution‑focused approach.
• Motivate and coach the Front of House team to deliver standout hospitality.
• Ensure picture-perfect dish presentation and high restaurant standards.
• Keep the restaurant safe, clean, and welcoming for team and guests.
