Job summary

Zizzi is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor or Shift Leader to join our team and support the management team in a fast-paced Italian dining environment. You’ll oversee critical sections such as the bar, food pass, or hosting during peak shifts, and run the restaurant during quieter periods.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to hospitality, safety, and high standards. Flexible hours and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality, retail or leisure environment.
• Confident, hands-on communicator with a lead-by-example attitude.
• Structured thinker who can organise a floor section and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Run the restaurant during quieter periods, ensuring smooth operations and safety.
• Lead from the front during peak rushes with full ownership of the Pass, Bar, or Floor.
• Step in to resolve guest issues on the floor with a feel-good solution.
• Motivate and coach the Front of House team to deliver standout hospitality.
• Care about dish presentation, restaurant standards and the details of a standout occasion.
• Keep restaurants safe, clean, and welcoming for staff and guests.
