Job summary

Zizzi Chester is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor or Shift Leader to oversee service, manage the floor, and lead the Front of House during peak times. You'll be hands-on, coach the team, handle guest issues, and maintain standards across the bar, food pass, and hosting areas.

This role offers flexible hours with a minimum-hour contract, clear progression to Assistant Manager, earned wage access, free meals on shift, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in fast-paced hospitality or retail environments.
• Strong communication and guest-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Run the restaurant during quieter periods, ensuring smooth and safe operations.
• Lead from the front during peak times, owning the Pass, Bar, or Floor to maintain seamless service.
• Step in to resolve guest issues on the floor with a positive, solution-focused approach.
• Motivate and coach the Front of House team to deliver standout hospitality.
• Care about dish presentation and restaurant standards to create memorable occasions.
• Keep the restaurant safe, clean, and welcoming for staff and guests.
