Job summary

BaxterStorey UK is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead a dynamic team of eight. You will drive excellence in food standards, service, and client relationships, delivering consistently high standards across all shifts and sites.

You will mentor and empower your reports, foster a culture of care and collaboration, and ensure health, safety and financial governance KPIs are met while maintaining a focus on sustainability and guest experience.

• Previous experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry.
• Passion for food and customer service.
• Experience in training and supporting a team.
• Analytical and able to manage budgets and drive performance.
• Excellent delegation and influencing skills.
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• The General Manager will be hands on and oversee a dynamic team of 8 BaxterStorey employees.
• Lead, inspire, collaborate and support your direct reports to deliver consistently exceptional standards.
• Build positive, credible and collaborative relationships with clients and other key stakeholders in the business.
• Continually look to develop your team through mentoring, training, recognition, and empowerment.
• Create a culture of excellence with your team, continually striving to push the boundaries of brilliance through natural caring service, obsessive food standards and innovation.
• Achieve business critical KPI's including Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial and Governance.
