Job summary

Hyndburn Borough Council is recruiting for a hospitality and events team to bring Accrington Market and soon Accrington Town Hall to life. Roles involve serving customers, bar work, event support, and food preparation, with some shifts across both locations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt across venues.
• Available for evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the bar and wait tables.
• Support and set up events.
• Assist with food preparation in the café and pot washing.
• Handle transactions and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Help create a welcoming visitor experience across Accrington’s venues.
