Hyndburn Borough Council is recruiting an experienced Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to join our hospitality and events team for Accrington Market and Accrington Town Hall. The role involves preparing fresh food, developing menus, and supporting events with a strong focus on hygiene and allergen management.

Roles may require work across both venues; evening and weekend shifts on a rota basis. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, and sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• Experience as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends on a rota.
• Commitment to high standards of food hygiene and allergen control.
• Ability to lead Kitchen Crew when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare fresh meals and contribute to menu development and seasonal specials.
• Support catering for events and functions at Accrington venues.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Guide Venue Crew Members during kitchen operations.
