Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Wishaw, United Kingdom, is seeking a Data Analyst to support the commercial team, reporting into the head of resort revenue. You will design, maintain and enhance the Resort's reporting infrastructure, data architecture and analytics capabilities to enable data-driven decisions and commercial success.

Working with data from multiple systems, you will consolidate, validate and transform information into insights that drive revenue growth, efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables, Power Query, formulas and dashboards.
• Proficient in R and RStudio for data transformation, automation and reporting.
• Experience building automated reporting solutions, dashboards and BI tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources and systems.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Collaborative – able to build relationships across departments.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, transform and validate data from multiple systems and sources.
• Develop, automate and maintain reports, dashboards and BI tools.
• Produce weekly, monthly and ad hoc analyses to support decisions.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Deliver forecasting and performance analysis across key revenue streams.
• Maintain data quality, reporting standards and documentation.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive improvements.
• Collaborate across the Resort to develop reporting solutions and insights.
• Support system implementations, upgrades and data migrations.
• Provide training on tools such as RStudio and Excel.
