Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort seeks a Data Analyst to support the commercial team and reporting infrastructure. You will consolidate data from multiple systems, develop automated dashboards, and provide strategic analytics to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the head of resort revenue, you will design solutions, train colleagues, and partner with departments to unlock actionable insights. Hospitality knowledge is beneficial and a proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables, Power Query and dashboards.
• Proficient in R and RStudio for data transformation and automated reporting.
• Experience developing automated reporting solutions and data visualisation tools.
• Ability to translate complex analysis for stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytics, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, transform and validate data from multiple systems.
• Develop, automate and maintain reports, dashboards and BI tools.
• Produce weekly, monthly and ad hoc analyses for decision-making.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Deliver forecasting and performance analysis across revenue streams.
• Maintain data quality, standards and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Collaborate with departments to develop reporting solutions and insights.
• Support system implementations and data migrations.
• Provide training on reporting and analytical tools.
