Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a Data Analyst to join the commercial team reporting to the head of resort revenue. You will design, maintain and improve our reporting infrastructure and analytics capability to drive data‑driven decisions and commercial success.

You will consolidate data from multiple systems, develop automated reports and dashboards, and provide insights to support revenue growth and operational efficiency across the resort.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, Power Query and dashboard design.
• Strong experience using R and RStudio for data transformation and reporting.
• Experience developing automated reporting solutions and dashboards.
• Excellent analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Ability to integrate information from multiple data sources and systems.
• Clear communication of complex analysis to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercial awareness with ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Collaborative for cross-departmental reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, transform and validate data from multiple systems and sources.
• Develop, automate and maintain reports, dashboards and BI tools.
• Produce weekly, monthly and ad hoc analyses for commercial decisions.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Deliver forecasting, pace and performance analysis across revenue streams.
• Maintain data quality, standards, and documentation.
• Identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
• Collaborate with resort departments to develop reporting solutions.
• Support system implementations, upgrades and data migrations.
• Provide training on reporting tools and analytics.
