Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Wishaw is seeking an experienced Sam’s Bar & Kitchen Assistant Manager to lead and organise a busy team, delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue in the department.

You will work with the Head of Department on budgeting, forecasting and business planning, while coaching a high-performing team and upholding the Belfry’s standards of service.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has a proven food and beverage management background in a 4-star hotel environment and experience with high volume.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to develop junior management.
• Ability to drive revenue while maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities

• Coaching, developing, and acting as a role model to your junior management team
• Reviewing weekly business to address successes and opportunities for improvement with revenue, guest measures, and payroll
• Managing compliance and stock control to agreed targets
• Identifying opportunities to drive profit, create value for guests, and encourage innovation
• Ensuring that your team are informed, motivated, engaged, and developed, to deliver operational excellence
