University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit Technician.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection (HSDU) Technician working at the County site, with cover also provided at the Royal Stoke site as required.
This is a fully flexible job role and shift patterns may be changed at short notice. Shift patterns include days, twilight shifts, nights, and weekends.
The successful applicant will be required to work permanent weekends with a backfill day off in the week, and participate in on-call and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
The Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit services include the supply and maintenance of surgical instruments used in surgical and medical procedures.
Applicants should have a good standard of education with literacy and numeracy skills, and basic computer skills. No experience is necessary as full in-house training will be provided.
